Danish sterling silver gilt and enamel Christmas spoon. 1967. This series of spoons were started by the silver smithy Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen in 1910. They made a different shape and pattern every year, with different designers creating a varied Christmas theme. This design is called “Splendor of Yule” and was designed by Paul Rene Gauguin.
The spoon is 16cm long and is in excellent vintage condition.
