Danish sterling silver necklace with cabochon rose quartz. 1960s. By Niels Erik From. Although he opened a shop in 1931, the N E From smithy was first registered in 1944, when production became more prolific. Most of this modernist style is from the 1960s and 1970s.

This rare necklace measures 39.5cm long x 1cm wide. Weight 46.8g. The cabochon rose quartz are set in slightly oxidized “frames/mounts” to bring out the lovely stones clarity. It has a “hidden” clasp. Excellent condition. Comes with a Danish period vintage jewellery box.
