Danish Silver Pendant on Torque. By Hermann Siersbol
Large Danish sterling silver pendant on original torque. 1960s. By silver smith Hermann Siersbol, who started his business in 1948 in Kastrup near Copenhagen.
This is a really impressive modernist piece of jewellery - hand hammered and with such attention to detail, that the “clasp” at the back of the torque is also hand hammered. Both items are stamped HS 925S for Hermann Siersbol. The pendant measures 12cm long x 5.2cm wide. Inside circumference of the torque is 37cm. Excellent vintage condition.
