Georg Jensen sterling silver necklace. The “Tulip” pattern was designed in the 1920s by Harald Nielsen.
Harald Nielsen was just 17 when he apprenticed with Georg Jensen in 1909, and later became an influential designer for the company. Georg Jensen was married to Harald Nielsen’s sister Johanne.
This stunning necklace is 43cm long x 1.7cm wide. Weight 68.8g. It has a London import stamp for 1963. Comes with later Georg Jensen box. Excellent condition. I have a matching bracelet listed separately, please see last picture.
