Hans Hansen sterling silver modernist bracelet. 1960s. Designed by the brilliant Bent Gabrielen ( 1928 - 2014 ). Bent Gabrielsen qualified as a goldsmith in 1949 after serving his apprenticeship with goldsmith Ejler Fangel in Copenhagen. In 1953 he was hired by the Hans Hansen Solvsmedie and worked there until 1969. By the time he left he was responsible for the firm’s entire production.
This wonderful substantial silver bracelet is 18cm long and 3.4cm wide. Weight 80.5g. It is a real pleasure to wear.
